As a witch hunter, you make your way through the village of Ravenwicke discovering items, artifacts, and assistance in the most unexpected places. However, time is short. As ingredients are added to her cauldron, the witch gains power and tightens her grip on the village. Once all five of the ingredients have been added to the cauldron, the witch wins the game! So, it is of the utmost urgency that you find her before the last ingredient is added to her brew. Oh, and did we mention that one of you is actually the witch?
Witch Hunt is a table top card game for 1-8 players. I worked on this project with my immediate family; acting as the game designer and creative director. I also contributed much of background illustrations and character design... Although the actual character illustration was outsourced.
I have been a Dungeons & Dragons GM since it came out in 1979. Along with GURPS, Pathfinder, and Call of Cthulhu, I have honed my skills in level design, story narrative, quest creation, world-building, and character development. This extensive background has equipped me with a deep understanding of crafting immersive experiences across diverse game systems.
The party begins investigating the disappearance of a young woman, believed to have wandered into the outskirts of a nearby eerie forest where locals fear monstrous creatures dwell.
Their search leads them to discover a hidden laboratory concealed within the heart of the town itself, operated by the enigmatic Dr. Hawthorne...who also oversees Terrel Asylum. In the lab, they uncover evidence of the doctor's gruesome experiments on asylum patients that mutates them into horrific creatures as a side effect. The lovely doctor then hides his mistakes in the deep of the forest.
The quest escalates as the party confronts the doctor in his mansion, unraveling the truth and putting an end to his inhumane practices, all while seeking information about the missing woman and those affected by the doctor's sinister schemes.
Based in Louisville Kentucky, the Muhammad Ali Center hired me to produce six online educational games that promoted diversity. Based in Flash, the games allowed the player to progress by answering questions related to multiple cultures found in other countries. I produced an Adventure Game, a card game based on Concentration, a question/answer game based on Jeopardy, and a Train Game; that required the player to answer questions correctly in order to build a bridge for the train before it crashed into the canyon.
Creating these online games introduced me to projects that combined all of my skillset in one place; and so I have looked for other opportunities to use game logic in my marketing and advertising work.
